I bought some fresh, local peaches yesterday for a very good price. I was planning on making a peach pie, and probably still will. But, does anyone else have any recipes or ideas of what to use peaches for? I'm going back to town tomorrow and can probably buy more if anyone has any good suggestions for using them.

Bother me tomorrow. Today I'll buy no sorrows.

Jam and smoothies. You don't even need to peel them. I shouldn't be giving advice on jam LOL Cut unpeeled peaches and cut them into slices. Place them on cookie sheets and freeze them. Then put into zip lock bags and return to the freezer. You can even use them for making pies later on. Placing them on parchment paper will make it easier to remove from the cookie sheets.

Slice them, add some sugar and freeze them. They are great right out of the freezer about half thawed out. Of course, you can use them lots of other ways too after freezing.
A frozen daiquiri made with fresh tree ripe peaches is as good as it gets of a hot day.
