Third year in college I sold all my possessions and went on the road with a 77 Ford station wagon and went to Grateful Dead shows and traveled ,lived out of the car and tent for a few months. Came back and got a different apartment. That's the closest to homeless I've been.
My job on the farm was there for me when I came back.
For some reason it doesn't seem like your homeless if you have plenty of money and lots of options. I would consider being truly homeless not having the money to get a place when you want

My truck was my home from 1984 to 1987. I didn’t seem like homeless to me. I called it practical. Gave me drive and ambition!!!!!!!!
Best experience of my life!!!!! I was a seasonal forestry worker. Found work and worked at whatever was available.

January 1st 1987 I was hired on full time. Best Xmas present I ever got. Started a lifetime of opportunities for me.

Bottom line. No matter how far down the hole life takes you. Everything from there looks like up!!!!!)))))!!!! Keep fighting. Never ever give up!!!!!
