Sheepdog1 OP trapper S Joined: Sep 2015 Livingston, Texas	homes lost, kids in church camps missing. catastrophic flooding in the Brady, Junction, Fredricksburg area and more rain still falling. please pray for these folks. that area cant handle much rain and with over 15-18 inches having fallen in the past 36 hours, gonna get much worse I am afraid.

Leftlane "HOSS" Joined: Dec 2009 The Hill Country of Texas	The fairly vast drainages that into the Guadalupe are stone- either granite or limestone meaning there is basically no soil to absorb a large rainfall. It all runs off and flash floods can be shockingly quick and high in the Hill Country. What"s good for me may not be good for the weak minded. Captain Gus McCrae- Texas Rangers
