House and or senate will flip at the midterms with nothing substantial happening. Dems will control them for a couple years. Very few actually show up to vote during the midterms.
People only care about the president years. So we will hope a good constitutional candidate is nominated. Vance seems decent enough as far as I can tell.
He will win or lose. Who knows with all the “assistance” and finding ballots at midnight that the dems have. We shall see. I hope for the best but plan for the worst.
Be nice to get folks in that actually do what they should and that’s represent the people who elected them. Not just the special interest groups and donors that are lining their pockets.

I doubt very much the Dems will flip the Senate. Republicans may even pick up a seat. House, good chance the Dems will flip it but we shall see. Then the impeachment crap will start again.
What's more disturbing to me than the Epstein video is the video of Trump being asked if he has ever asked God for forgiveness. His first answer wasn't very good, and he failed miserably the next time they asked him.
Repentance of sin and asking forgiveness from God is fundamental Christian doctrine. I voted for Trump twice, but I do not trust him.
Have you ever really thought Trump was a washed-in-the-blood, born-again Christian? I believe like many Americans, probably even most Americans these days, Trump believes in God but has never really been a practicing Christian.
But, I give him a lot more respect for answering that question honestly, even knowing it would alienate a large part of his base, than I would have if he straight up lied about it and said that he did, if he didn't.
So if someone doesn't believe in God or Christ in the way you feel that they should... that makes them untrustworthy, in your eyes? Even if they're honest about it? I find that pretty sad, really. Isn't it the unfaithful that the born-again Christians are supposed to be showing God's love and mercy to... letting their light shine so that those that don't believe may see the goodness in those that do follow Christ?
There aren't many people in this world that I do trust, but a full 50% of them don't believe in God and/or Jesus at all, and I promise you, you won't meet any better, more genuine people than they are.
I just want the people we vote for to tell us the truth, and not say something to get votes. That is all.

So Trump admitted to NOT being a born-again Christian BEFORE he was elected the FIRST time. He wasn't hiding anything.
Maybe he has subsequently called himself a Christian (I really do not know whether he has or not?) but remember that there are probably PLENTY of people out there who consider themselves "Christians" because their parents took them to church on Easter and Christmas. There are probably even MORE that consider themselves Christians because they believe that Christ was the Savior... even though they've never had a personal relationship with Him, or even asked forgiveness.
I think it is important, Chancey, to remember, that not everyone is on the same level of their spiritual journey as you are. It is not uncommon for people to go from being believers, to atheists, back to believers, to doubters, to maybe someday back to believers. This is a personal issue for every individual... what they believe, or don't. I don't think it's fair to group a satan worshipper in with someone that believes in Christ but has no relationship with Him, do you?
I'm sorry to say it, but hardcore, my-way-or-the-highway believers have driven more people from Christianity than atheists ever have.
