Anyone keep theirs insured once they are 4-5 years old and only used on the farm?
Thinking about dropping the insurance.

I run mine on the road so I keep it insured. By doing so the policy falls under my liability umbrella. Fwiw.

The premiums are based upon the current year and value after depreciation. Mine runs about $70 a year currently with State Farm. Some areas they are considered a high theft item so rates will vary of course.

Mine is $125/year.

2018 Honda Pioneer 700-2.

It's still insured.

I bought my Polaris new in 2000 and it still runs good. Don't think it was ever insured but I never ran it on the road.

I insured mine against theft and damage. My policy doesn't have a liability/uninsured motorist clause or any injury/medical coverage.

it a 2018 polaris 570 - nothing but farm use.

Can’t use on public roads in NC. My Honda 300 is a 1990. No insurance.

Mine is insured by a Benelli M1 Super 90 - 12 ga.

Have had 1 claim.

Dang dog chewed the wiring in two last year.

Insurance paid $800. Dealership replaced the entire harness.

Never have had any insurance on any of mine, probably should.
Never have had any issues with theft, knock on wood.
They are as much as a pickup use to cost.

I take mine hunting in the mountains every year, so I keep it insured. Additionally, I have friends/family using it at my farm, so its like having another endorsement incase they get hurt or crash it

It's always smart to carry liability insurance no matter how old it is. If you use it on your farm, you can endorse it for liability on your farm policy for almost nothing.

Never bothered with it just not a good bet my 2004 has under a thousand miles on it I’m not out much if a tree falls on it.
