Both in the last couple weeks. 53" and a super fat 43.5"

I've caught longer pike, but not heavier. And I may have boated a 54" last year but only boat measured it on a tape, not a bump board. This one was bumped at 53"

Heck yeah! Looks like a great time. Congrats on those fish and the memories. You eat them or release them?

Just wondering if those size are eaters or breeders.

Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

I liked to know how big of a fish those you caught would eat. I'm sure a 18" walleye would be a snack.

That musky would eat a 26" walleye without issue.

Both fish were solo, also

Are they good eating? I don’t usually target fish if I’m not gonna eat it.

They look fun to catch though!

That’s exactly why I don’t like putting my hands in the water!

Hutchy - congrats on those monsters!
That 54” musky is a big creature.
The pike is nice too. I have one just like it hanging on the wall.
Enjoy your beautiful area.
PM sent.

Pike and Muskies are delicious and the big ones you cook with the bones in and use them as tooth picks to suck the meat off of. Great fish, I only fished in Quebec as far as Canada goes. jk
