Have family come down from new mexico, they are spending a few days in branson before heading our way. So we decided to come on down as well to take a mini vacation
, spend some extra time with them, see a show. Tomorrow going to sight and sound theater to watch David. Saturday going to the titanic museum, I'm sure will will hit putt putt as well. And whatever will tickle our pickle along the way. However always

I have Branson tips if you want them:

Ride the ducks from the strip, they will give you good tips on what to visit.
Check out the Trout hatchery.
Check out the back side of the dam somewhere, its ice cold trout water, table rock lake is spring fed.
The Visitor center on the way to the lake is a great stop to learn local history and its donation.
I assume you already know about Bass Pro in Springfield and hour up the road.
Take the kids and wife to the butterfly house and have them wear bright oranges and yellows.
Go eat lunch and check out college of the ozarks.

Skip Branson, grab your waders and hit the head waters of Taneycomo.
Catch and release several 24" rainbows and browns
Get out just before they open the gates on Table Rock for power generation
Go back this evening and repeat
Maybe keep a couple short fish to eat on !

Thanks for the tips. No fishing this trip had to bring the daughters little dog, so we had to bring her kennel so we was short on space. So even though Cameron begged to bring fishing gear we didn't have room. Ohio i know all about college of Ozarks, had a few friends go there and I visited some while I was here. One of them actually worked at the keeter center while going to help with his tuition. Honestly thought it was crazy fresh out of high school how it was ran, they are super strick with freshmen, take thier keys through the weekend strict curfew and don't allow visitors only but on certain days. But I believe that helps many get through the first year.
