I wish she would come back as well. Frankly, quite disappointed as I thought she was tougher than that.

My first post on here, in 2004, got me hate PMs for at least 5 years after. Who am I kidding? I still get em from time to time, lol.

When I first came on here there was another crazy cat lady (like Smash... and like my mom).... who never got a single day on here without the "cat hate" being here. What in the world else could be expected on a forum of sportsmen? She rolled with the punches and was, and still is, very much liked by those that knew her then.

I followed the post that led Smash to leave and at least 85% of the posts on there were made in a joking manner. I figured Smash would put friendships with people she's made over the past couple years above ribbing over goofy cats. But, I guess she favors cats more than humans.... and that's ok too....

She sometimes made trapping a critter harder than it is but I also know the catch is about how much land you have to trap and the population . If we only have 2 raccoons in a square mile they may take some effort to get but she was a good gal

Maybe she's not mad and just living life. Online forums can be good places to visit, but let's be honest, they're an escape from real life.

Know when you catch a kid bullying another and they start going " what ? No we like him ! We where just playing ! " when you start calling them out ? Yeahhhhhh

Your generation is overly offended about anything. Now I wasn't close to Smash, even thought she might be an anti when she first started posting, but I read the last thread she posted. It was simply a good natured ribbing involving many she was close too.

I don't think that's the case. There was always plenty of banter on her threads, but she participated and gave it right back. She even started it plenty of times.
