I was going through stuff and found these, forgot I had them. Got'em at the Ohio rondy in 17. I know they clamp on a post, stick, etc, but the socket cap screw and the tab sticking out has me puzzled. Anyone know how to use these? Pics? Thanks, and I ran across some Victor 50's & 60's I forgot I had too. Nice surprise!

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I bought a few of them years ago. Never used them. You drill out the rivet on the non-spring side of a 110 and bolt the trap on the screw stud where the rivet used to be.
That piece of metal below the stud keeps the trap from turning. I think a guy from MI made them, I got them at one of our conventions many years ago.
(A stake is inserted in the big square and tightened at the desired height with the thumb screw)

Now it makes sense, thanks K-zoo! I can see where they could have a niche type use. I also have the kind for legholds, kinda like a sudden valley set up.
