That sure is a good chopper pilot. Steady hand for sure. Woudn't be much fun on a windy day. Yo pick the perfect days for those jobs. I have watched them do other jobs and the clip on to that high voltage (transmission voltage) and become the same potential as that energized line.

Sure they have a reason but why wouldn’t they attach them on the lines before they put them up? A different potential then. You get burned electrocuted immediately. You attach in the air so it would be like a bird sitting on powers lines. They become the hot line themselves.
