USPS and UPS! Had an order for 3 gallons of epoxy resin coming from Florida via UPS. Got to within 50 miles of my home in Oregon. Now listed as damaged and being returned to sender. A package coming from Washington via USPS, has been in the distribution center in Oregon for five days now listed as in transit to final destination. Five days to travel 120 miles and still not here! Rant over!

All those packages people paid extra for priority mail get taken care before your cheap shipping rates, folks forget about that.
You package will move when they get caught up, hopefully.
Sux about the damaged goods though.

Service promised offered at a premium price with no guarantee of delivery what a deal.

Even if you pay the extra for priority, they don’t get it there any faster if it’s delayed. Been having problems with a lot of my packages ending up stuck in Portland or troutdale. I stopped paying the extra as it’s almost a guarantee that it will be late where I am.

Even UPS has the same delivery dates for different prices that makes no sense but that’s what they post.

I sent a USPS money order out to the tune of $10 shipping, and it sat in ND for five days. It made it across with no hold ups once it started moving. It arrived before the 4th, so that was not the hold up, unless they are off the end of June on through.

I ordered some books from Abe books, one was in Washington state and DHL was the deliverer to the post office. It left Washington June 24, showed up in Maine July 2, was delivered to the post office in New Hampshire June 3 and left Maine today. I don't have any idea when it will get to me in Oklahoma.

I mailed my IRS tax payment in March by certified mail return receipt. I got the receipt back on July 7th.

My pkg made it to Fort worth Texas Friday Andis in Pennsylvania this morning.

Anything shipped FedEx regardless of origin (mostly what I order comes from back east) ends up taking a vacation in Troutdale for several days to a week, for me. I cringe whenever I see anything is coming FedEx, UPS or USPS or both far superior to FedEx here. And if FedEx does manage to get to the right address, every time they open the truck to get a package out, all the packages are just in a big pile in the back of the truck... and they look like they have just been tossed through the back door into a pile in every truck they have traveled in. Packaging is always beat to pieces, torn and dented up.

Well, I’m still waiting for my package from Washington. Been in transit to next destination (120 miles) for 10 days now.

They threw it away. What usually happens to my packages. If I bothered to check I'll bet packages from two three years ago still say "in transit to next destination".

The motto must be, “when in doubt throw it out!” LOL

I ordered a extractor for a rifle and they sent it out with tracking so I could keep track of delivery, it went from Savage arms in MA and was shipped first to Dallas Texas then to Chicago was shipped back to Texas returned to Chicago and finally to Minneapolis Mn, the day after it hit Minneapolis it was listed out for delivery, never delivered so went back to Minneapolis, next day back out for delivery and again that night back to Minneapolis, same thing for several days then it was listed as not deliverable to be returned to sender

I literally threw a fit called and complained and a few days later it showed up here total time for delivery 23 days

I read that as potential bomb parts. Hazmat box for sure.

Sent coyote tails to a tattoo shop in WA state years back they seized the box and sent me a letter about violating the controlled substance act. LOL It took 30 days to get notified of the action, they refused to make good on the loss claiming they were perishable even though they held then for 30 days when I paid for priority.

They would spend $200 to fight a $20 claim you can’t fix stupid.

Don't feel bad. I ordered a book from Amazon 1 month ago today and it still is not here.

Another week or so you'll be able to go to the movie.
