Well, as per usual I bought a stock today (for the record, I have owned a few shares for a couple years) after I bought 250 shares @ $6.32, it promptly dropped, so I bought another 250 shares at $5.87. I, finally, broke my streak and it closed at $6.86 for a gain on the day, lol.. Oh, the stock ticker is DPRO, a company that makes military drones.

“Fortune favors the brave,,,” someone said
After quick research,,,,,
I’m surprised the DoD would contract with a Canadian company,,,,,
Just goes to show that all the “elbows up” trade war BS currently between Canada/Us ,,,,,,,,That we(canadains) get pounded with up here nonstop,,,,,is complete BS

BigBear.ai is a solid bet. They’re riding the coattails and headwinds of Palantir. I’m up 30% in 4 days.
Palantir is wildly expensive, but if you have a big appetite for risk I think you’re bound to make some money in the next five years. Despite what all the analysts say, they keep rising and will continue to do so. I got lucky and got in around $20. Another with negative earnings. This one is only $0.84 as opposed to $3.05 though.

Bother me tomorrow. Today I'll buy no sorrows.

I've been trying to talk myself into UPS. I don't seem very persuasive lol

I've been trying to talk myself into UPS. I don't seem very persuasive lol I watch this one as well, but the union is determined to destroy the company. I wouldn't let the yield suck me in. A dividend cut is certainly possible.

I don't understand the desire to invest in companies that continue to lose money.
Don't be sucked in by a low dollar value share price. They aren't cheap. They are expensive. I've been watching this stock for quite some time. They just signed a huge contract with the U.S. government for a very advanced drone. The company just announced a sale of institutional shares with a warrant option @ $5.25 that dropped the stock price. They are raising capitol to deliver the government contract. Sure, it's a longshot, but this is about 1/10 of 1% of my stock portfolio, I'm not worried. Lol

I still say, invest in a very low cost s&p 500 index fund through companies like vanguard or Fidelity. Start young and invest consistently throughout your life. You don't need to pay someone 1% to do this. In the end you will match the market and make money. You can lose in the short term. Don't pay attention, keep investing. Look at a graph of the 500 since inception. It really is that simple. Don't overcomplicate it. This is sound advice. All the other things I focus on are speculative, as I’m just looking for a homerun. I’m somehow up 600% on Palantir despite a P/E that’s out of the stratosphere.
