For heaven’s sake, Racer Man...you're a trapper...just bring your skinning knife , cleaned up well, and peel the hide off them yourself . The skin is the best part. Just dip it in your favorite sauce. What a hoot it would be to observe you at the table Probably cut myself! lol They're usually soggy with the skin on too, soaks in grease. Sounds like the grease wasn't hot enough. Hot grease makes fries, or anything deep fried crisper, too low of heat, and everything is soggy and greasy tasting. Anything deep fried needs to be in grease at 350 and hotter for them to be good tasting.

Really makes them look when I then order a baked tater instead....and eat it skin and all. Fries = no skin Home fries are a lot better if peeled first! Never liked the skin on home fries. French fries, don't bother me if fried in very hot grease. I eat the skin on baked potatoes also.

I can't recall that happening at any place I ever ate. If it did, it would not bother me, I always eat the skin when I have a baked potatoes.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I slightly prefer skin on fries. I eat the skin on baked potatoes.
Keith I seldom eat fries, but when I do they have to be shoestring fries. I always eat the skin on baked potatoes. It's the best part.

I like skin on, waffle fries, and I love sweet potato fries. If any of them come out of the kitchen soggy I send them back to get crispy. Hash browns too.
