I worked night shift and the wife picked me up at 5:00 AM to head to the FTA. The plan was for her to drive and for me to get some sleep. Well her driving leaves something to be desired in my opinion, so I spent a fair amount of the 7 or so hours offering solid driving advice. We get to Spencer and she pulls into a dealership, saying something about wanting a quiet ride when we go home. Hour and a half later I'm driving away in a 2016 Chevy. So I guess what I'm trying to tell you is never stop working at improving your wife, she will appreciate it and buy you a pickup. [Linked Image]

That is a heck of a Bride you have there Sam but have you considered that she may be leaving you there? Or maybe she is encouraging you to buy a whole truck load of goodies.

I have nothing clever to put here.

She is a wonderful woman. I can't imagine shed leave me here, but also put her signature on the paperwork that facilitates my getting home, so she must want me to fill it up with newhouses.

My solid driving advice never worked out quite that well LOL.

Congrats on a new ride and a great bride!

If you bump into some of those traps you know I like I could maybe git you a finders fee. It might not pay for a new to you truck but maybe it would take your obviously great wife out to supper some night.

I'm already looking for them Leftlane. Figured to get ahold of you if I encountered any. Haven't seen any yet but there aren't many tailgaters set up yet either.

If you run into more Winchesters than you can handle, you be sure to give me a call.

Thanks man! The No 3 size would get a good job around here and man I just don't see many offered up.

Once the Winchesters no longer fit in the Chevy, I'll give you a call 160.

Does she have a sister?

Take her shooting and give lots of advice. If this theory holds there are new guns in your future!

Looking at the radar, you may want to put a few extra tent stakes in the ground.

If it is three sisters... is it still polygamy?

Good idea trapdog. 160, it was looking interesting for a bit, but the heavy wind is over for the time being. Beaverpeeler, that's a good question.

You sir have pulled off a trappers trifecta. First, you persuade your wife to go to a trapping convention. Second, you get her to drive you there. Third, you run the table by getting her to buy you a truck, Lol.

I salute you! grin
