well they could pay good money to come here and catch all they want
, do you freeze and steak them all at once with the band saw? I know you collect them for cat food and bait , wondering what the process you run
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Use worms will freeze them whole then the ones I use for bait get put through the meat saw then put in bread bags and thawed as needed for cage bait. Slow morning with the wind the wife and I try to see who catch the most that day. She catches then for cat food for the cats around the house.

Nice haul, they would be fun on an ultralight rig. We don't have the carp like we used to. Bow fishing has hurt the population in the Susquehanna river
I didn't know that was possible!

Past winter kills can kill them by the tons here but they bounce back quickly.

I didn't know that was possible! Some of these tournaments have a good payout and there's guides all up and down the river that specializes in bow fishing. Some of them have enough lights on them, I wouldn't be surprised if it could be seen from space.

On a good weekend, during the spawn, I can kill 75-100 per day. Bowfishing. When they are spawning hard sometimes you can get pass thrus and get 2 or 3 carp in a single shot. Lots of folks mean mouth carp,, saying they are trash fish… but I pressure can mine and I can get a finished product exactly like canned tuna. Theres also the canned salmon/mackrel type stuff you can get too,,, but I prefer the tuna. I save the less desirable pieces for coon bait

We shoot them with bow or spear them when they run in the spring. 20-30 lb carp are not uncommon. Took me about an hour to catch this batch.
