A Son in law is moving and gave it to us. Belonged to his late Mother. Just wondering if it's valuable. Might would sell it and put it in savings for a Grandkid or sumthin

I'm a sucker for old pewter. If the others are sterling silver they are worth something by weight more than collectable imo.

I don't know about the goodies but it looks like the same stainless table my dad has in his kitchen.

As for value, look for makers marks and other kinds of stamp marks on them.

In the fourth picture, that little pitcher appears to be pewter. Should be a proof mark on the bottom stating it is. That pewter is worth around $4-$8 a pound in bullet casting circles.
The silver service, if you polished it all and sold it as a set, you might find a buyer. The second hand stores are full of the stuff, not many willing to pay for it then polish it.

Had a large collection of it and offered it for sale as a "free will offering" price. The balance of what wasn't spoken for I took to the scrap metal dealer and depending what the base metal was it sold for brass or #2 copper.

I go to a lot of auctions and those silverplate settings are usually all thrown in a large box and get a low price (20.00 or less). Sometimes someone finds a piece of Sterling in there and the price goes up quick. If a piece of silverplate is dented and some usually are they are now scrap.

The plated silver has no value.

If anything is true silver it will say sterling silver or 925 silver

The pewter pitcher after cleaning is $30.00 to $50.00 dollars.

The badly tarnished plated silver don’t bother polishing it. More then likely the silver is gone is some of the places. I am speaking from experience , but has a scrap value depending on the base.

That stuff is a dime a dozen. If it isn't sterling it has little value.
