Looks good Ness. Do you soak it in the husks or add anything to the corn inside? I'd had it made many different ways and as long as you start with good corn it's hard to screw it up.

Just boil it, alot better.

Just run it undah the faucet...that's it.

I love corn-on-the-cob for lunch. 3 minutes in the microwave and it’s done. That all being said, I worked around a fella in the Dow Fabrication Shop many, many years ago that when sweet corn was in season would microwave and eat 6 ears every day at 1st break which was at 10am and for 15 minutes! When you cook 6 ears in a microwave and eat them all within 15 minutes, you’re a friging corn-eating Pro!!! It was something to see I guarantee !

I micro it in the husk. No lost nutrition and value of the vegetable.

That's how I do it. It's goes on the grill, husks still on, as soon as the grill gets started. By the time the grill gets heated up and the burgers are done, the corn's ready to eat.

I shuck mine and boil the ears. What we don't eat right away I cut the kernals off and freeze in pint bags. I have 3 crops in different stages, with none ready yet. I had some germination issues early and replanted. Corn crop looks outstanding around here this year, sweet and field.

We shuck ours down to the point there is only about one layah of husk on the corn. Then pull of the silk and soak them in a bucket of watah. Then throw them on the grill like you do, turning them till done. Pull 'em off, slather them with buttah and salt....and enjoy! Leftovers get shucked clean then put in the fridge to be microwaved in the next couple days.

Boil sweet corn for no longer than 3 or else the sugar content dissipates

shuck the corn, put in a cooler, pour boiling water over, wait 20 minutes, pull out of the cooler slather with butter, sprinkle with garlic salt. If you're cooking for a party or a picnic it will stay warm all day and taste great.
