More of a tradition breakfast here this morning. Buckwheat pancakes with maple syrup.

1969

It has pilot lights and has performed flawlessly in the thirty-five years I've been using it. Try finding one with pilot lights anymore.

I love that old stove. Wife's been trying to get me to upgrade for decades but I've resisted so far.

She might soon get her wish. I'm building a new summer kitchen/butcher shop and will likely be moving this one in when it's ready.

Figured as much ..by the color.

Haven't seen a yellow stove in decades.

Have you got any vintage Coleman coolers ?

Now those are a talking piece !

Officially it's "Harvest Gold." LOL

I've remodeled enough old places to recognize most of the popular 50's thru 70's colors. Teal, poppy red, pink, avocado green and the ever popular harvest gold. I've seen some wild combinations of those colors in old tiled bathrooms.

I've got some Colemans but nothing vintage.

They look good....ones I catch in the pots are kinda beat up after being dumped on the table, lol .

I save the good ones for the store and give the ugly ones to mi amigos for unloading the truck....I think the store pays us 3.50 per...I just add them up till we settle up..

I eat a couple maybe twice during the season, I like them but not a huge fan....especially the real big ones..lol
