On the other side, the Brewers were hitting about .230 the first half of the season and are now averaging .256 which is 3rd in the league. Couple of good wins against the Mets. Bryce

The NL central has the most teams over .500 in the majors and the most wins as a diviision, 315, next best is 307. Hope they can continue to play good team ball, hit well, pitch well and play good defense. Bryce

Cubs mediocre trades probably had an impact on the clubhouse. Hoyer is afraid to turn loose of the moldy money in the billfolds and get some productive talent. Suarez and another good arm on the mound could have had boosted morale… Cubs face the blue jays next… hopefully they don’t get swept.
