Spent the morning picking up tree branches for me and the neighbors it was blowing hard along with an inch of rain that came with it. Lots of old elm trees that are slow dying a limb at a time. Found some good size limbs with leaves on them over in the next lot 40 yards from the trees they broke off of that’s unusual even for here.
Took 2 truck loads so the burn pile I burned a month ago is now full again. One limb top of a heavy limb just hit the tip of the limb to the neighbor ladies car a little bit longer she might have had some serious damage.
It’s been one windy summer I don’t remember this kind of humidity in past years even with no rain for weeks it’s still a high dew point. The condensation it good for the young birds at least so it’s not all bad.

I feel ya.
I refer to very early spring/late winter as ' stick season ' Gotta go pick up all the sticks that fell during the winter. But it is worth it for all the shade those trees supply on my property.

Been a cool summer a lot of rain compared to the last three. Humidity really isn't really an issue here.

Every spring before I can mow I have to do "Twig and Branch Patrol" at camp where the yard is surrounded by woods. I usually get a good pile in the fire pit for the start of a nice campfire later on.
Eh...wot?

They might need a trapper to help capture them.

They might need a trapper to help capture them. He’s a friend I could play kangaroo cowboy for a while if I’m needed.
