A rat in the coop I’d set 110s after dark behind the 15 hole nesting box stand it’s avoided it for days until I popped at it with .22 birdshot then it panicked and snap the 110 went.

About 3 months ago...doing a nusinence beaver job...had a big beaver slapping his tail At me ..while I was setting my first 330. He kept coming closer and slapping his tail. I made my second set...while keeping an eye on this critter. Said ...I got something for you Bub....and put that stink stick with some Backbreaker lure on it...got out of the water...hid behind a tree about 20 yards away.. And in all my beaver trapping years...nevah saw one swim right into a 330 .. Until that day !!

Watched a coyote hit my cable restraint at a dead run. Amazed me he didn't break his neck when his rear legs passed his head.

Released a Bobcat from a MB550 just to watch it run out of the field and into a trail that I had a cable restraint in. Harder to release from the cable.

Several critters hitting (springing) traps in my presence from ----- slipping a 110 size trap into a muskrat UW den entrance and having it spring in my hand with a live mink up close and personal to ------ 8 beaver springing 330 size BG's some still in my hands and some leaving their house/den BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the two outstanding memories were 2 coyotes on separate occasions hitting a snare full tilt when I drove in a cornfield checking snares in the adjoining pasture. Not quite a cinema view but I was able to see the "scoot" down the trail and the summersault each time they hit the end of the extension cable. Rare for sure for me. ......................the mike

He got hit right behind the head. He flopped around for maybe 10-15 seconds. Then he was still. Very humane kill.

I jumped a coyote out of a brushy coulee and it headed for the top of the coulee where I had a snare set in the fence crossing , it hit the end of a 8' snare with all 4 legs in the air and landed with a thud ! I dispatched it and added it to the one's in the pickup box .
You're friend along the snare line . Allan
