Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

Man you just reminded me of my youth. Piggly Wiggly when I lived down south in my youth. Many years ago!

if one shops wisely here you can still get lots of stuff, like this pork steak is 3.20 a pound pork butt is .99 and the butcher will cut the pork butt for you into steaks, store brand is still way better price than brand name, just my two cents,

Bought a nice pork roast this morning for $1.49 a pound. Total cost was $5.48. Add some asparagus, cheap meal for the wife and I tonight.

Being old is when you don't care where your spouse goes, just a long as you don't have to go too.

Gotta watch the sales, pork butts can be had for 99 cents, chicken legs, thighs 99 to 1.29, sirloin/round london broil, 3.99, 4.50..chopmeat. 3.49....all bought lately.

No, your not going to find rib eyes, or other good stuff, but if you need to make allowances you can, just need to stock up when it happens..

The higher the prices go, the larger many of the sales are as a percentage of the going prices. One has to read all the promo ads as many are strategic and also many times other items are pushed up highere hoping we buy those while we are there.

As long as its real food I’m OK with spending the money we don’t do Walmart meat I can taste the preservative they spray it with why would I buy what I won’t enjoy.

I buy a lot at the Sharp Shopper store. The grocery bill will be about 1/3 of what it is at Walmart. Some items, exactly the same are 1/6 of the price at other stores. They get in loads of stuff that are nearing expiration date. Today, I got 14 ounce bag of pepperoni slices for 99 cents. Two pounds of hard salami for $2.99. ( it’s $7.99 a pound at the local grocery deli ).

Lots of Amish buy here.

Pretty sure that I'll be retired before I finish that $25 bag of rice from Costco.

I'm just a soul whose intentions are good. O Lord please don't let me be misunderstood.
