I put one in before last deer season. I used it skinning 4 deer. Worked great! I also use it occasionally to lift stuff. But mostly for skinning deer.

I bought one around 2010 hung a lot of coon coyote and deer then we started getting tickled by the cable metered it and pulled 70 volts took it apart and well they're not made to be repaired bought another same brand first thing i noticed was a lot smaller and the control cord waswaay shorter that one lasted 2 seasons Hope you have bettyer luck

That’s pretty much what I got. A 12 or 14’ ceiling would be better for me, but at 10’ it still makes wolves a bit easier.
