Can't think of a single reason anyone would go to that freak show. Sick of the trash and all the garbage that the trash leaves on our roads. Then you have the unsafe vehicles and loads that can't even get close to the speed limits , over 20 mph under.

Glad its almost over traffic wise .

A bunch of people in the desert limited or no showers- cant say I can see how anyone would even consider the Orgie dome. Sounds like a disgusting pagin fest from what I heard about it.

It isn't the desert its a dry lake bed of alklai dust, they are so bad that truck stops won't let them shower or use the car wash

Wife grew up there in Gerlach, 50's - 60's. Still have family there ranching and farming. Burners are a real pain for them just to conduct normal life chores. I have been there after the fact and seen the mess to the area. Some locals make $ from it. Cost everyone else.

Wish I had some pictures of me back whan I was Ironworking out on the iron with my belt full of brightly painted pink tools. Now this was over 20 years back before the lbtq crowd became a thing and they stayed in the closet.

BUT as a young Apprentice making 80% of scale with lay offs and rain outs i got tired of my tools walking off. Painted them pink and never lots anything else. No one wanted to use them or barrow them. And only those that didn't know my family or my reputation were dumb enough to make any smart mouth remarks and promptly changed direction either voluntarily crayfishing, or involuntary rolling in the dirt. O to be young and dumb again.

I could do all 3 in one picture if someone was there to take the picture. Just a picture of me hunting for a trap not in the bed, fishing around with a stick to do so, pulling up a beaver when I find it. Found out a stick is smart whan I discovered a trap was not missing from its bed but covered with silt and over to the side of where I thought it was . #5 Bridger under water was not any worse than Bridger #2 I got in later that day.

All three… why not?

I have one or two that I use for muskrats also. The HAGZ is nice also.

Regarding Burning Man, not my thing but I say let them have their fun. I wouldn't like the trash or junky cars on the road though.

As for hippies, I spend an increasing amount of time at my place in N. NM. We have hippies everywhere. You get used to them.
