Mine does all of it with me. Also does a fair amount of skinning and butchering for me when I'm at work.

when she was alive , she would fish , we were fishing until less than a month before she passed.

on occasion she would drive while chasing ditch chickens but the range was as far as she ever made it with a gun , she did have a sense of humor and would shoot the groin out of targets to make people uncomfortable. you teach them to hit what they are aiming at and you create a comedian with a mean sense of humor. I mean not that the pelvic girdle is a bad place to shoot , people find it hard to stand on a broken pelvis and a vest seldom covers it.

trapping, she would sometimes ride with but not get out of the truck.

she would help package venison

roll with what works , she would read or knit she could do that for hours , good thing cause then she was happy to sit in the truck while I might get caught up talking hunting , guns or trapping with someone.

My Babe has checked beaver traps (once )...and I showed her where the trap

Was....but it was gone...so I told her where the tie off cable was..

And she hauled in the catch ...all excited !! But it was one and done.

No hunting..but loves to shoot her K22 Masterpiece

But many times trolling for trout...and out catching me

I thought that was a dream at one time then the wife gets all competitive so that taints the pool pretty quickly then she complained about opening gates so it all went south she moves kind of slow anyways. Lots of downfalls with bringing the wife with trapping she would bail out to be the first to check my sets I had to start tripping her to get around her to be first to the sets, it’s a struggle. whistle

Then she took up archery shot 2 deer that year and the expert was born then it became who’s going to what stand so relaxing was now optional.

She fishes way more than I do with me trapping 7 months out of the year and always on skunk duty I need some home maintenance time and boiler wood duties in the other 5 months.

Every days the same with something to do no real weekends in the mix. They ask at the Doctors office if I know what day it is, I said lady I don’t know what month it is most of the time.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

I didn't even mind her out catching me , I did have to bait the hook and take the fish off , still it was just nice to have her with.

Mine loves to fish summer and winter.

One time I talked her into going deer hunting with me. She shot a nice 8pt and cried for 3 days. I never asked her to go again.
