She fishes way more than I do with me trapping 7 months out of the year and always on skunk duty I need some home maintenance time and boiler wood duties in the other 5 months.

Every days the same with something to do no real weekends in the mix. They ask at the Doctors office if I know what day it is, I said lady I don’t know what month it is most of the time.

LOL!!!! I like that a lot.

To answer No No No. Kind of like it that way though.

Mine was ruined with trapping, caught a coyote while she was pregnant she wanted to ride along at that time my trapping ring was a Chevy tracker, stuffed it in the back and the smell and her pregnant nose did not go together. She rode with her head out the window gagging the whole way home. She has help my son when he was little check traps, because he wasn't big enough to handle a gun by himself... but that was just walking distance.

She never been into hunting, will shoot guns all day long, but will go fishing with us. But by far more of a book read and a puzzle putter together.

Just depends. Sometimes we trap together... sometimes we'd run separate lines. We almost always fish together if we go fishing. Hunting, again, depends... deer hunting is solo... if we were going dove hunting or something it would be together.

Does your husband trap with you WI?

Not at all and has no interest in hunting fishing or trapping herself

She supports me and loves that I do all three. She eats all wild game and prefers it over domesticated meat. She wears fur proudly and tells people about it.

This is fine by me. I've always been a lone wolf in my outdoor pursuits.

Skunk smell doesn't bother her at all. Just one thing she doesn't like. Fresh caught mink in the house. She doesn't like the smell and says it lingers.

She has done all of them but doesn't anymore. She just chose to give them up for the moment.

I bet. Most girls that "experiment" grow out of it by the time they're out of their teens, but you went the whole nine yards and got married...

Once, once, once.

I don't go shopping for dresses and shoes with her. Well, once 50 years ago.

When we were dating in the early 70's, she went bass fishing a few times. She wore her bathing suit to get a tan, and she graded student papers. If I caught a bass on two straight casts, she would consider casting her rod.

I only recall her ever catching one largemouth. She tossed a Johnson silver minnow with a strip of pork rind into a bed of lily pads. Caught a two pound bass. Still have the photo somewhere. I think she retired then.

Wonderful Wife has done a lot of hunting with me. She has taken bear, deer, ducks, geese and a pile of turkey. Most in Wisconsin but also on some trips to Sask. She loves turkey hunting and is really good at it.

She is a heckuva fisher too. We fished all over Wisconsin, out West, Lakes Michigan and Superior, Ontario...all over the place. Two times are my favorites...watching her get pulled around a Lake in her kayak by a Muskie on her trusty ultralight and her reaching down an ice hole to pull up a Crappie so big it got caught in the hole while she was pulling it up.

She never trapped but has always encouraged me to get out an do it.

Even though she is now pretty much in a wheelchair we are plotting ways to get back out together.
