MJM OP trapper M Joined: Dec 2006 ND	I did a fry pan pizza and apple pie on the fire ring tonight. The pizza was in a #8 cast iron pan set inside a #8 cast chicken fryer. The apple pie was on the upside down chicken fryer. I cut the bottom out of a kettle grill and set it on a grate on the fire ring. The pans set on the grate in the kettle grill. That raises them up about three inches above the grate the grill sets on. The pan was 540 degrees according to my digital laser thermometer.
