Played a ton of chess in the 6 th grade.

I think the last game I played was when i was 18...against my Uncle ...

50 + years ago...but still remember how the pieces move...lol

I played chess a few weeks ago. Won every game. I’m possibly the greatest chess player in my house.

Of course my opponents were children, but I’m not letting anyone win unless they earn it.

I ain’t raising no freeloaders. No hand-outs in this family.

I retired from it once my teen modelling career began.

I have to defend Keith. I have read a lot of his posts and he seems very intelligent as far as his posts. Now I don't post a lot because frankly like Keith I pretty much know most common things and can get the final jeopardy answer 50% of the time when I watch.

I used to be high school champion but haven't played more than a few games in the last 25 years or so.

I played a coworker many moons ago and she thought she was pretty good. She invited me and my lady friend over for dinner one evening. Afterwards she got the chess board out and wanted to play. She said she beat her husband all the time and wanted some new competition. I check mated her in 4 moves. She never saw it coming. She was devastated and didn't want to play a second game. I felt really bad about it. I never thought she wouldn't see what I was up to. LOL

During one of my tours of in-school suspension back in high school I learned to play. The supervising teacher taught me. It was fun.

I'll occasionally play my boys. They beat the old man.
