You're welcome, mississippiposse . I think of this ad every time, and it is always so moving to see. It touches me every time. It was all real, not AI. They had a technique they used to train the horses to bow down all at the same time in honor for the memory. Needless to say, I love the horses and equipment and especially those square cleated shoes.

Good post. It also brought our country together. It's the last time I can remember the U.S. actually having a common goal--and a common identity.

I don’t care what it cost, and the folks saying that taking Osama won’t change anything. It had to be done and he personally had to pay a price. It can’t be fun being at or near the top knowing that 24/7 there’s lots of $ and highly trained/motivated people looking for you. Look at what happened in Iraq after Obama went ballistic (pun intended) utilizing JSOC and who knows what other secret orgs. The leaders were dropping or snatched sometimes within hours of getting their promotion……hammer time!

Yeah, for a week or two. Then back to hating each other.
