No such thing as an absence of religion. Athieism is still a religion. Just because there's not a priest of a hymn book, doesn't mean its not a religion. Something will always be worshipped. Something will always rule. It will either be God, self, money, qthe government or one of the various other supposed deities

No, it's not. You can't support a group that supports abortion. And given that the current leader of the Republican party supports a right to abortion in some case, it appears that a good Christian should vote neither Democrat or Republican.
(Yes, abortion because of rape, incest, or life of the mother is still abortion. And so is the destruction of viable fetuses that occurs in IVF).




The Republican party here in Nebraska pushed a constitutional amendment that would limit abortion to 6 weeks. But abortion at 6 weeks is still abortion. So I guess I can't vote for state level Republicans either.

This. I'm a Christian Conservative and vote according to my religious beliefs. I'm not an absolutist as some on this forum seem to be. Jesus ain't running on the ballot. I know all politicians and people, including myself, are not blameless and without fault. I just try to vote for those who most closely legislate with my belief system and democrats don't fit the bill.

Charlie Kirk was a champion of Jesus Christ. He would go to college campuses and proclaim His name. IMO, that is why he was killed.
If one reads posts by the people on social media cheering for his death and their reasoning about being happy about it, it is easy to see that they hated him for his defense of Christian morality. Not because of politics.
