Leftlane OP "HOSS" Joined: Dec 2009 The Hill Country of Texas	I wanted some big iron ready should the need arise and looking at Flipper & The Hammer's DLS pics on the trap mod post inspired me. The Slerpy Creek 4.5s are getting harder to find but I'm convinced I've never seen a set of traps that can out perform these. Dogless conversions, OS lans, and custom chain set ups by Hammer! As you can see, they will lay nicely waiting on a big paw. Shout out to Big Sam for hooking me up with some great traps to work off of. What"s good for me may not be good for the weak minded. The hammer trapper Joined: Aug 2018 Pennsylvania	Was a pleasure working on them traps and man are those 4.5s stout! I am happy that you’re happy with them! Those are the first 4.5s I ever had the pleasure of modifying have done plenty of other big traps like 5s and 4s but those SC 4.5s are some serious iron to handle! I’m not even aloud to use a trap that big but with how well they turned out I will be doing one up having it powdered coated and hanging on the camp wall!

I agree Hammer if I had too many I'd make one into a wall hanger but I only have a few. Maybe if I catch a big ol tom I will retire one and hang it with his tanned hide in my living room.
