Some of us are just looking for the support of the trapping community. Doesn’t mean we are weak or can’t deal with life or are cursed , etc.
I don’t need to be labeled a bleeding heart and all that nonsense because I have no political stance.

You are not a bleeding heart. You just always have one when some of us can turn it off. Have been on this site MANY years I see what the boys are saying, Not taking sides just see it.

I'm a big proponent of people needing to have thick skins to participate in social media, and tend to feel moderation should be limited and let people work out their own issues for the most part. But there are lines that shouldn't be crossed IMO, and 1lessdog crossed that line in foxkidd's other post. When a grandparent is fearing for their grandchild's life, someone coming on here and accusing them of being the reason their kid is in the hospital, when it was clearly an accident that could happen to anyone, is... simply going too far! 1lessdog should be ashamed, and IMO, owes foxkidd a public apology!

I've known John for a lot of years, Aaron. I believe he has had some really bad luck... both physically and with vehicles. I feel his pain on the crappy vehicles.. I'm used to driving ones that belong in junk yards most of the time. I think the problem with him most of you on this post seem to have is that he posts about all of his problems. If I posted all of mine I'd probably have more. But I'm a more private type of person when it comes to things like that, so I don't usually post my problems. I don't know why John does for sure... maybe he doesn't have people to talk to much in person.... a lot of time maybe he's just looking for advice... I don't know and don't really care. Like any other post on here, if you already know you don't like reading his posts then why click on them? I'd honestly rather read about foxkidd's deals then see dozens of blurry pics of sunrises and deer taken through dirty windshields from 300 yards away. Because I know that is what many of certain people's posts will be, I just scroll by them.

And furthermore, unlike a lot of people on here, foxkidd is one that is always willing to share his knowledge about things such as trapping, fishing, and wildcrafting with anyone that asks. I just don't abide by kicking someone when they're down by personally attacking them/their family... it's classless.

Whatever cloud he's under , I hope it passes.

We all have drama in our lives just living this long is a drama all on its own lots of changes for a guy that hates change. LOL Just to be clear I’ve never jerked coonman around and never will but many think it’s OK to do that I think it’s sad.

I think it's a sign of the times. This year has been the worst yet, I think.

My work life is so terribly stressful. My doctor is on maternity leave and clients are so lacking in compassion. Their dog needs simple vaccines and wellness visit and they aren’t cool with scheduling with a relief vet. I’m disgusted.

Some people do not have a support network to vent to. You should be thankful if you do.
and compassionate to those who may not.

Took my dog for his annual visit last month. The technician called and mentioned that his regular vet was on vacation. She was nervous about asking me, you could hear the relief in her voice when I said. Ok? Why would that matter? Anyone can give him his shots and checkup.

Pets have replaced children for many Americans. They worry about their pets getting the best care, like people do their kids.

In Ohio, we can still buy most of what we need to give dogs, so I do everything myself.

If you look for nothing but the bad, that’s what you will find. There are a lot of people on here who do just that and post it as fast as they find it. It’s not always as bad as these miserable souls make it out to be. Try unplugging and see how much better it can feel.

Keith I have no children and I don’t compare pets to children but I see the need to care for them accordingly. But these people are out of control because we have babied them so much. They expect more from a vet than you would a pcp. Don’t respect the 24 hour communications protocol.

all of you sticking up for foxkidd good on ya. You all give us some hope, yotetrapper your 100 percent correct about 1lessdog going way to far and that being classless. I don't know foxkidd but if he ever needs someone to vent to message me anytime you need. It truly saddens me how low we all have sunken over the years. No one seems to care about anyone anymore. and 1lessdog your not perfect so please don't act like it. American suicide rates are skyhigh. Some not all but some do it because they feel like they have no one to talk to. I honestly joined this sight because i love the outdoors and i really love trapping and want to learn more, I know where i live I do not have any people around here to talk to except my wife and as her husband i don't like to bring her down with my doubts and fear, Luckily i have a few brothers from the military i can talk to on the phone with. I have no idea how many times a week on facebook on various veterans groups i am on of brothers loosing the quiet war. All of you that are talking crap about a man who just might need some help and who knows maybe just typing it out helps him should feel ashamed but i digress sorry for speaking up. Keith you should see horse people. They next level helicopter parents LOL. i have 2 kids from previous relationship and my wife ca not have kids but her horses are her kids. luckily she was a vet tech and being the ranch manager we handle almost 99 percent of all issues that arise

I'm pretty much a hermit and outside of my household, I probably don't say more than three words to anyone except for, " $60 on pump #3 and a can of Copenhagen ". It’s been my experience that the “fur baby” type people are the real lunatics.

Pet owners like myself, who spend endless amounts of time training their pets (dogs) to be gentlemen and ladies and perform certain tasks at the top of their abilities don’t seem to fall into that lunatic fringe group. Or maybe we do and just don’t realize it.

I’m not a big fan of the whole “wellness check” thing and wouldn’t have anything to do with it except for the fact that it’s just a nice term for when it’s time for them to get their annual shots and boosters.

That and the fact that my vets and the vets of most of the other dog owners I talk to, will not give their OK to fill a prescription for flea and tick meds online until you are up-to-date on your annual visits.

Agreed. I think of people got off the computer and turned off the news for a week, they would mentally feel a lot better.

Just be you people asked and you answer the question now we know what’s going on no need to change anything really. I myself get a lot of answers on YouTube it’s amazing what you can learn there. I’m no electrician but I’ve done a lot of electrical work in the last year that I couldn’t have done without the help I got there.

Granted I had to watch some clips over and over to figure it out but it still got done and done correctly. LOL

Last we heard he was somewhere in Florida after his shop , which was called “ the black goat, caught fire and put him out of business.I don’t know if he brought his skulls with him or not
