Seems like life is getting harder and more stressful for everyone. Is this just a part of getting older or is it a sign of the times?

I think it's a sign of the times. This year has been the worst yet, I think.

My work life is so terribly stressful. My doctor is on maternity leave and clients are so lacking in compassion. Their dog needs simple vaccines and wellness visit and they aren’t cool with scheduling with a relief vet. I’m disgusted.

Some people do not have a support network to vent to. You should be thankful if you do.
and compassionate to those who may not.

You all refer to the Trapperman family.... Is it really?? some pretty UGLY posts on here lately.

Took my dog for his annual visit last month. The technician called and mentioned that his regular vet was on vacation. She was nervous about asking me, you could hear the relief in her voice when I said. Ok? Why would that matter? Anyone can give him his shots and checkup.

Pets have replaced children for many Americans. They worry about their pets getting the best care, like people do their kids.

In Ohio, we can still buy most of what we need to give dogs, so I do everything myself.

If you look for nothing but the bad, that’s what you will find. There are a lot of people on here who do just that and post it as fast as they find it. It’s not always as bad as these miserable souls make it out to be. Try unplugging and see how much better it can feel.

And I’m not talking about Foxkidd44.

Keith I have no children and I don’t compare pets to children but I see the need to care for them accordingly. But these people are out of control because we have babied them so much. They expect more from a vet than you would a pcp. Don’t respect the 24 hour communications protocol.

all of you sticking up for foxkidd good on ya. You all give us some hope, yotetrapper your 100 percent correct about 1lessdog going way to far and that being classless. I don't know foxkidd but if he ever needs someone to vent to message me anytime you need. It truly saddens me how low we all have sunken over the years. No one seems to care about anyone anymore. and 1lessdog your not perfect so please don't act like it. American suicide rates are skyhigh. Some not all but some do it because they feel like they have no one to talk to. I honestly joined this sight because i love the outdoors and i really love trapping and want to learn more, I know where i live I do not have any people around here to talk to except my wife and as her husband i don't like to bring her down with my doubts and fear, Luckily i have a few brothers from the military i can talk to on the phone with. I have no idea how many times a week on facebook on various veterans groups i am on of brothers loosing the quiet war. All of you that are talking crap about a man who just might need some help and who knows maybe just typing it out helps him should feel ashamed but i digress sorry for speaking up. Keith you should see horse people. They next level helicopter parents LOL. i have 2 kids from previous relationship and my wife ca not have kids but her horses are her kids. luckily she was a vet tech and being the ranch manager we handle almost 99 percent of all issues that arise
