You can have God in your families life without going to church. I would say that's extremely difficult to fully instruct your children, set them up with additional good role models and friends without the aid of a church. At best you're severely handicapping yourself not only in your own journey but also your kids.

Donnersurvivor, nothing else matters besides you being the Spiritual leader in your family, to your Wife and to your daughters. Without a Church home and family to lean on and vice versa, you have sawed off your legs.
Stay the course with your current methods. all the beaver, coon, deer and etc.........will not matter in the end.
those are desires of the flesh and I have been the worst offender and the Chief among men in regards to putting those very things between myself and my Lord and Savior, Jesus. Where one stores his treasures, there also is his heart.
the falling away of the Church is solely the fault of weak men, of these I have been the Chief offender, failing to live up to or adhere to our roles as not only the Spiritual leader of our family. But, failing to live a life that exhibits a Christ like mind.
the reason so many women have mental health issues is because the father figure and or husband has abandoned our most important job and role in the family. Thus leaving the women to raise the children, work two or three jobs, hop from one paramour to another leaving themselves vulnerable and quite honestly showing their children what not to do. But, if not for the failure of Men, perhaps such wouldnt be the case as we men would be saying prayers at meal time, teaching the Gospel and all of the Bible to our wife and kids, praying with them when they go to bed and praying for them before they go to school or anywhere for that matter.
Paul Harvey, in the mid 1960's, said this very thing would happen, however, Jesus foretold of this in Matthew 24.

Make sure your girls have a strong sense of self worth from my time working with juveniles I believe that is the number one factor in the direction a female chooses. Can’t count the number of times girls that could have a great life settled for one “loser of the month club” after another and struggled their whole life unnecessarily.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

The even worse number is that the other 44% are running around undiagnosed. Ha! I figured they just slid the scale a bit for them.

I believe just having a strong father figure present in their lives would help a lot. There’s my strike one Me too. In my case, it made me stronger in many ways. I did get some helpful mentoring from a few fathers of a couple of friends.

The most important thing our society produces is the next generation. It would be better if women could afford to stay home and take proper care of the children.
Keith Not all can but many could with sacrifices, but lots of people don't wanna give up a big house, new cars, vacations, name brand clothing. The list goes on and on. Many value materials and are forced to have two incomes to have it all.

We live in a double wide, I bought the house, moved it here, did the well, septic, driveway and electricity for $80 000 total. It's not nice by any means but it's paid for a wood stove keeps it warm
