Exactly right. There are tasteful tattoos, and then there is just stupid tattoos.

I have both sleeves aost done, never once had an issue getting a job. Never had a sip of alcohol, never had any tobbaco, never touched a drug illegal or legal aside from ibuprofin. Not to bad in todays society i would say. Poor judgement in my book is hiring someone well qualifies by for a job because they have a tattoo. Sure some are scummy, but so are some people without tattoos.

Well, . . . for some people, life isn’t a trip to the grave with the thought of getting there safely in a good looking well preserved body, but to skid in sideways, cigar in one hand, beer in the other and your body thoroughly used up and totally worn out and hollerin’, "WOW! What a *******ride!" :-))))))))))

If someone has made the actions of getting loads of tattoos and piercings and dying their hair a noxious color, those actions definitely do help you judge their character. Those aren't the only actions to judge, but they are important ones.

KeithC, I agree with your statement as it does apply to the perception of a person. I look for very specific character traits. What they look like isn’t one of them. How they respond to escalation, attention to details and communication reign supreme.
