…. There’s a gay Mexican waiter at el taquito in town… I ask to not be seated in that area as I have trouble keeping an appetite up around that sort of thing lol Tex mex sucks where ever you get it….. just chew on that chricio sausage.

I know some gay people. The ones I know aren't flaming, rainbow flag waving types. Just average people getting through life like the rest of us. I've got no problem with that. Same here. I have several friends with gay kids. All of them married. Unless someone told you, you wouldn’t know they were gay. Several gay folks in our Lions Club, good members. I don’t care for all the Gay Pride stuff. Big parade in Pittsburgh every June.

Come to think of it.....I can't recall ever seeing any mention of either Military Appreciation Month or Veterans and Military Family Month here on Tman. I do see a lot of complaining about pride month though. Weird.

The military should get 12 months, and every gay person should celebrate the military for every single one of those 12 months because without our military they wouldn't have gotten a single minute of recognition let alone an entire month.

Why is the celebration of a sexual preference even a thing? If you are in to plantin' taters then so be it. Believe me most folks don't want to celebrate it or even hear about it. I am friends with a gal at work that is gay. People always talk about June being "her" month and stuff and she gets so mad about it. Says it's not her month. She is one that just keeps her sex life to herself. I worked side by side with her for 2 years before I ever even knew she was gay! She absolutely does not want a month to celebrate her sexuality.....

Angela I think the average gay person doesn’t want it to be celebrated.
It’s the militant attention seekers that do.
Just like the folks here saying that companies and media don’t support the military.
I know we have a news agency that does all the time. And our local business do also. Heck, go to mission BBQ or Lowe’s.
We have grocery stores that have have reserved parking for Veterans.
