The military should get 12 months, and every gay person should celebrate the military for every single one of those 12 months because without our military they wouldn't have gotten a single minute of recognition let alone an entire month.

Let's not forget that the markets close for Juneteenth and MLK day but NOT for Veteran's day. Shameful.

I personally know a few soldiers that shake their butts, idk if them girls twerk though. But they sure know how to have a good time.

Why is the celebration of a sexual preference even a thing? If you are in to plantin' taters then so be it. Believe me most folks don't want to celebrate it or even hear about it.

The media coverage of pride month is immense. I've never heard anything from the media on Military Appreciation month and Veterans and Military Family Month in the 55 years I've been alive.

I am friends with a gal at work that is gay. People always talk about June being "her" month and stuff and she gets so mad about it. Says it's not her month. She is one that just keeps her sex life to herself. I worked side by side with her for 2 years before I ever even knew she was gay! She absolutely does not want a month to celebrate her sexuality.....

The media seemed to be not partial to a military parade as they are to a gay parade.

Just like the folks here saying that companies and media don’t support the military.

I know we have a news agency that does all the time. And our local business do also. Heck, go to mission BBQ or Lowe’s.

We have grocery stores that have have reserved parking for Veterans.

And we absolutely SHOULD have those things for Veterans.... and imo we can do MUCH MORE for vets than we do. Vets that were injured fighting for our freedom should have the best healthcare in the world.... it shouldn't have to be a constant battle with the VA just to get subpar care!

I work at Lowe's, and yes... they support our veterans! Why I designate 10% of my paycheck to buying shares of the company.
