Just saw the news.. Trump is sending 10 f35 to Puerto Rico to help fight the drug cartels… I sure hope this doesn’t turn into a Vietnam jungle warfare kinda thing.

I saw a report last night that two Venezuelan F15s did a low flyover of one of our destroyers.

I cant even imagine being a Venezuelan F15 pilot being told to harass a U.S ship...

I'm guessing they called ahead and said that their boss was making them do it.

Why are we wasting big bucks shooting skiffs with air power? We already have naval power in the area and could just strafe them. No need to risk losing a plane. Already lost at least 2 F-35s and a tug this year....overboard! Think that cost in the neighborhood of $150,000,000?

We do have the Coast Guard capturing some, its just that it doesn't make headlines like smoking one from the air does.

Coast guard doesn't get enough credit imo....but when the navy seals are sucking it all up I guess there not much to go around
