Went out and picked half of the popcorn we grew, turned out so-so. First planting drowned out and had to replant so happy to get this much. Other half is for the neighbor, he tills the garden for us and he uses half the garden.

Anyone else grow popcorn?

I can almost feel the blisters from shelling that on my thumbs right now. My parents grew a lot of it. I remember it laying out on newspapers in an upstairs bedroom to dry before the blisters started. lol

We grew some quite a few years back. The strawberry variety. I remember I was disappointed because when we popped it it didn't actually taste like strawberries lol

One of my best friend's wife's family grows a few hundred acres of popcorn every year near Delphos, Ohio. They used to and may still sell to Orville Red Redenbacher.

They load us up with popcorn occasionally. It's really good popcorn.
