Alex Jones's commentary on Sandy Hook was vile, but I'm not sure how the $1.4 billion judgment against him can be justified. Not even wrongful death judgments reach that level, and I think wrongful death should rank worse than defamation (or whatever the speech infraction was). For whatever reason, the 8th Amendment protection against excessive fines isn't said to cover civil judgments, but I think SCOTUS really needs to take another look at this because the courts should not be weaponized this way.

Alex got a raw deal with the Sandy hooks case. Not a huge fan but my wife watches his show. He had some good questions on the sandy hooks shooting that to my knowledge have never been answered.

Now bring back Roseanne and we’re good.

Not really. People are just naive to a point and refuse to believe certain things until they actually see it or hear it on the news. Look at covid. Masks never worked. I knew that from day one as I needed an actual respirator for work. People believed you need a mask, then two masks. Then months later, they said masks didn't really work. Then the sheep would parrot everything they were told.
