Well not always Angela but there will always be inflation of some sorts. IMHO when it's organic it doesn't really hurt, when it's artificial it hurts.

I look at it like this, prices can be whatever they want but if there isn't enough dollars in circulation to pay it those prices will have to come down or at least not go up.

There must be some accountability or at least some "calling out" for those within both houses of Gov and within the Administration that hold dual citizenship and may not have total allegiance to America, but rather a foreign country. There also needs to be a reckoning of any politician that is getting donor money from foreign Govs. Its really fricken Treason is what it is.

Well, that's absolutely true, too. Just saying that stating that printing money is the ONLY cause of inflation seems.... disingenuous. Other things cause inflation, too. Now, reducing the money supply may well be the best way to reduce inflation.

Here's a question for you. If the Fed left the money supply where it is right now, but the gov't reduced their spending by......... 50%......... would inflation go down?

If you're looking for a single person to blame... I'd start with FDR .... who promoted the mindset that it was the taxpayer's job to pay for those that couldn't/wouldn't/didn't want to support themselves. Since then, it's become a trait that's been passed on from one worthless generation to another. I think it's more "organic" than you think. People have spent the last 75 years being taught by their worthless kinfolk that the less work you do... the more money Uncle Sam will send you.
