Do non citizens have constitutional rights? Illegal aliens?
How many lies will people believe before they realize their own idiocy?

They don't have rights that are explicitly for citizens, like the right to vote (15th Amendment, 26th Amendment).
But that doesn't mean that rights like due process or habeas corpus can be withheld from them. I guess you could categorize those as human rights, not citizen rights.

It depends on if you think the rights enumerated in the constitution are granted by God and/or are natural rights, or are granted by man and/or are privileges.
Lets look at the first amendment, for example.....is the right to free speech granted by God/by mere fact of being human? Or is it a privilege that can be revoked at will?
How about the 2nd....do people have a natural right to be free from violence and tyranny, and to access the the means of protecting themselves from such? Or is it a privilege granted upon them by their government?
Some, of course, are clearly granted only up on citizens, like the right to vote.
But any right that you believe is a natural right, applies to all humans.
If illegal aliens are human (of course they are), then they have the same right as any other human that has committed a crime. So awkward yourself.....do you have the right to due process because you're a citizen? Or is it a natural right because you're a human?

I just thought about this today and thought it would be an interesting discussion.
How many lies will people believe before they realize their own idiocy?

Here illegally! No rights here other than to leave. They still get a few. Most of which apply to them being in court and getting sent home. But yeah, they need to be gone.

Do y'all believe medical care is a human right? ..I don't...Been hearing that alot lately. Anyone can go to an emergency room and receive emergency medical care. After that, no.

That's how I see it...Think what they are really saying is they have the right to get their health care for free (paid for by others)
This is a constitutional thread, sorry for the O.T.

Do y'all believe medical care is a human right? ..I don't...Been hearing that alot lately. Absolutely not, not even emergency life saving care. A right to ask but no one can be coerced to perform a service short of adjudication and incarceration. BTW the same applies to the military draft.

Hope the ER you ever have to go to doesn’t wait to confirm you have insurance and you are here legally before they perform life saving care.
Would really hate for you to die while they confirm you are eligible to live.
Luckily the doctors and other medical staff will do what is needed.

No one ever said that liberty comes without consequences. Now that said, if society works out some sort of solution where medical services are properly compensated via third party then I'm fine with it. Though what we're doing now ain't exactly working well. The principle remains though.

lol. So you or a loved one goes to the ER with a severe injury or illness on deaths door. You’re good with waiting to show your insurance card before they render life saving care? That’s insane.
