Alrighty finally got ahead of some of the chores so now we can focus on this .
What am I doing ? Bought the cheapest on sale .22-250 upper I could find and we'll gonna see if I can make it work. 22-250 has a pretty well documented history of NOT wanting to work win gas guns . The ones that see to work flawless as a whole are the really nice Gucci custom ones ... But a lot of those use special stuff ...and you looking at $2500-$4000 for some I've seen.... For that price I'd hope they would work flawless but most folks are going with the cheapest they can get so when I got a 10% off coupon code in my email and saw this upper for sale ...well I just had to lol. What I'll do with it ...well if it doesn't work , toss the barrel throw in a .243 or something. The side charging barreled uppers are like $175-200 plus the handguard...egghh . And if it does work... I guess Ill put it to the " kill something with this " list lol
Anyhow $216 shipped
[Linked Image]

And here we go with what she looks like.
[Linked Image]

So something interesting is I got a lil deal of CLP a note and a manual with his one....I never gotten these from BCA.... Mabey it's just a new policy? Idk
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

But other then that see to be the standard BCA treatment no rust or nicks dings ect everything is nice and tight and has a lil layer of some kinda oil.
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Now for the part I know a lot of y'all love ... The bore scope. This is right out the box no cleaning from the muzzle to the chamber
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

So definitely rough. But seems they gotta better with their crown at least lol. I have never seen those squiggly deals so idk what those are and the gas hole looks to have a burr so hmmmm lands area. Bit better then what I'm used to from BCA. Okie doke time. To clean a lil.

Ok so gave her a scrubbing. From left to right hopped #9, dry patches JB bore paste, dry patches , hoppes , dry , JB and a wet patch
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

And a few shots of the barrel now .... definitely a nasty burr on that gas port
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
Still don't know what these squiggles are...never seen that before
[Linked Image]

Alrighty now that's don't time for fitment. If you saw my post about my 6.5 creed AR10 then you'll know that AR10's are finicky but the BCA and PSA uppers and lowers can work together....with some fitment.

BTW : I AM NOT A GUNSMITH DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK IM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU GET HURT OR MESS UP A WARRANTY

Anyhow this actually is pretty common it seems from reading so yeah... First I'll just try and pop them together because apparently sometimes they will fit without any fitment
[Linked Image]

And no dice the back pin just won't go in because the upper receiver has a lil too much meat on the back end and won't let it sit low enough. Last one I did I ground like every thing
[Linked Image]

But really you don't need to . Just hold the together in front of the light and you'll see exactly where your getting contact and where you need to grind
[Linked Image]

So just packed some paper towel in the recovery and wrapped the rest in a old shirt and went to bubba'inh
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
If you've ever done any stock fitment work it's about the same deal. Sand a lil test fit , sand a lil test fit . Took like 10 min total and got a nice fit barely any noticeable movement at all and cam pop the pins out pretty easy

Hey Wolfie... I seen that BCA has the whole complete gun in 22-250 in an AR format. I recently just bought a BCA AR 15 in 22 Arc. Have short it about 20 times shooting and cleaning and shooting and cleaning some more hoping to break in my SS barrel. Functioned great ! So far. I have not shot it yet with a scope to see how accurate it is. I am not doing such a detailed testing as you are. Some people like BCA products and some people cuss them. Thanks for this post...

I like the 22-250. People underestimate it.

Don't know if it's been underestimated so much as forgotten. Before the AW ban lifted, 22-250 seemed to be the standard coyote round

Alrighty we got her all put together! Added a light deal of oil to the bcg just a few drops on the body wiped on with a rage and a drop or two the the inside of the BCG.... I don't like just "soaking" and AR ... Know that's some folks deal, not mine .
[Linked Image]

Ok now time for the meat and potatoes of what's supposed to be the big ole 600lb gorilla of 22-250 AR10's... FEEDING ISSUES! like I've said before the big big we documented issue with these things is them not feeding .22-250 well . Ole Ed over on Outdoor Edventers in YouTube has a pretty detail video on his experience ... He's a real off the books hot rodder type reloader btw

That and with a lot of posts from places like predator masters and the like , feeding is the main issues.

So initial lil test. Got some factory ammo the other day ...which btw eveyone tells me 30-50 GR is the best for this with its 1:14 twist barrel ...but all I saw mostly was 55gr factory ammo...I mean there was some 45 GR vmax stuff from hornady....but yeaaahhh nah not dropping $50 a box for that mess lol
[Linked Image]

As far as mags: seen a few comments about how these could be mag picky and how there's a few companies making custom or modded mags for these ..... Well one place is out of stock and I'm not paying $150 for the other custom one ..... Nahhh. So just gonna use the same ole mag unused with my creedmore
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Ok first up gonna run two rounds from the mag. Will let me test and see how feeding and lock back works and not waste a ton. I tried setting the camera up so y'all could see the round getting picked up buuut didn't work out .
Anyhow mag in rack back and let it run like. AK..no babying .
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

No clue if it picked up an round sk went to pull back to check and this sucker is TIGHT ! had to two hand it but I'll chalk that up to needing a lil break in first... Remember....I paid $216 for this....it's gonna be rough and need a lil work .
[Linked Image]
But it did pick one up
[Linked Image]
Sent it back and
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
Aannnd again
[Linked Image]
And got a lock back on the last round....
[Linked Image]

Ooooook... So other then all the smoke ok the first round.... No real issues ... Not how this is supposed to be going lol

So I thought and remembered that alot where saying if they don't full load a mag they usually had pretty good feeding but a full mag would make round nose dive into the feed ramps..... Ok soooo let's try a full mag.
So 10rd
[Linked Image]
This should cause feeding issues . Mag in rack it back the same way aannnd
[Linked Image]

Picked it up perfect.... Interesting..decided to pop this one out and give it a look over and the only thing I could see was the male was a lil dinged up...but not sure if that was from grind against the ramps ejecting or act from feeding
[Linked Image]

But anyhow shoved that back in and waited for the malfunction but after a few rounds
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
Fed just fine ....so .... Idk if I maybe got a lemon or they upgraded there deal or something but idk ... I'm actually slightly bummed because I was honestly expecting to be doing some tear down work by now but...nope... Interesting.
Anyhow my scope ain't getting here till Saturday so might rob one off another rifle and go ahead and do a grouping test tomorrow...no sure yet

O something I forgot to mention. Noticed my case ejection pattern was.....odd . My very first one went right at 1:30-2:00 o clock. The brass is circled in the the red the you can't really see it
[Linked Image]
And from where I picked it up
[Linked Image]

But also , I had some go straight out at 3:00 the some at like 4-5 and then back to 1-2 ?.... This round does have a ton of gas in it soabye that has something to do with it but idk

Wolfie I may buy one. My favorite all winter long truck gun cartridge. If that thing runs good and will reliably shoot 4-5 inch groups at 300, Im telling wife to make her complaints to you when I try one.

I don't know much about AR's but I bet more recoil from a 22-250 than a 223. Does anyone make stiffer recoil springs? In real life knowing the bolt recoil speed is important. You don't have any way of testing that. But that case holds more powder, so G-force on the buffer is going to be higher. Just a thought.

Here we go !

So decided to just rip the scope off my SPR .223 Wylde . Love this lil ARKEN 4-16 that one of my bipod rear bag and yeah
[Linked Image]

Same ammo as yesterday same box and everything
[Linked Image]
And gotta say .. I REALLY wish this was a fast twist barrel because look at all the dang room I got ! Boy 1:7 twist with like a 77smk .....sweet Lord....
[Linked Image]

First deal is to check my lil bore sight at 50yd
And yes I'm using a bipod and rear bag...
[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

First shot landed low made an adjust and two more stacked but...50yd isnt a good litmus test imo
[Linked Image]

Now out to 100yd and move the camera a lil so we can see what it looks like as the BCG picks up a round and...not the best but
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

So hers how 100ud worked ran five rounds at the center target no adjustment no Chrono graph or anything . One it shows me what the guns will do with a larger group.... Sorry don't trust three found groups the most ... especially with my shooting lol. But also lets me see about what the zeros shift does from 50-100yd. Then I adjusted a bit to try and hit the center and strapped the Magento on and (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) three at the left then took it off and three three on the right without any adjustments to the zero.

And
[Linked Image]

So with the cheapest factory ammo I saw at bass pro...with what's supposed to be a bit too heavy of a bullet....not .. terrible... Not exactly good ..but usable .

No velocity data unfortunately
[Linked Image]

But this thing is SUCH a nice deal to shoot like the recoil is extremely mild doesn't really jump or anything either .
And the brass .. no crazy dings or anything but definitely have some ejection swipes
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

So ....again idk what's up here .. I don't know if I got a perfect one or a lemon in the since I'm not having any issues but ... No pierced primers , no nose diving rounds , no messed up brass , I'm getting last round hold open/ lock back .... Idk

Honestly with this big heavy sucker ... It's barely more then my .223 AR's like I'm serious it's extremely pleasant to shoot... Not like a custom bolt gun or something but ..very nice.
And yes theres a while host of buffer spring ad weights a guy can mess with

Welp got the brass all prepped did some moths and made up some dummys. Seems for smooth chambering and ejecting there gonna be roughly.006 off the lands ... No some of that is probably still just the rifle breaking in and belong rough in the star chamber but we can always play with it more

Man you are tempting me. I have always wanted one of these but the bad reviews kept me away. I have over a thousand rounds of .22-250 from the Walmart clearance days and now I’m considering one again

All right all right all right , got a lil time today so LOAD TESTING!
So since this thing runs faster out the gap then 95% of my lil arsenal I'm just gonna go with the book and work my way up. With AR's unusual start middle or upper lower end and work my way up due to the gas system and usually shorter barrels taking a lot of juice ..but .. again then thing is running like 3600 at the staring load so blush
[Linked Image]

So gonna start out with gonna run the 40gr vmax one , become eveyone and there mom says 35-45 GR is where it's at for .22-250....aannnd two I have three boxes for some reason lol
And next for a 55gr SP for anyone who wanted to see that comparison, for ... science I guess lol
[Linked Image]
Running accurate 2460 and honestly... I usually really hate anything other than a stick powder ...but something about this I kinda like .. stuff meeters like dang water .
[Linked Image]
Not a lot of case fill though .... Wild S-D are coming I can tell already lol
[Linked Image]
And a close up of the powder itself
[Linked Image]
And like I said in one of my earlier posts worked out a customer COAl/ C TO...found where the bullet was roughly hitting the rifling , backed it up 0.003" and then some more to facilitate an ease of un chambering. So now we're like 0.006 off the lands .more jump then I like but prefer a lil jump vs possibly getting a chamber full of powder because the bullet was too close for caught in the lands and popped out ..been there done that. And loving this lee micrometer
[Linked Image]
And since it's going in a AR10 with. I much bullet actually int he neck....check it not much at all
[Linked Image]
I gave them just a light kiss of a crimp..just to keep everything in place.. tried to measure and got like .002-.003 worth of crimp
.... Swear those lil red tips seated out kinda long...SEXY LOL
[Linked Image]

And the set up...same as usual, bipod rear bag bench
And yes I'm running the Magento. Yes I doing load development with it . I do more of the Cortina method where my velocity takes a bit bigger if a role then group size . Also testing for factory shows this gun isn't super finicky with it so there that. Anyhow I need to my numbers and if something looks really good velocity wise but not group I'll pop it off and revisit it
[Linked Image]

Ok ok running straight from the mag
[Linked Image]
Was actually super curious if my reload would finally give me some feeding issues so racked the first one dropped the mag carefully took the round jour and inspected it...aannnd nothing I could see

And shooting , shots where made in groups of five @100yd...no real rhythm or anything just squeezed when I felt good about the shot. After five rounds I'd left the bolt open and go load the next five got a consistent 3:30-4:30 ejection pattern and the recoil was STUPID light ! I mean make a no sense lol.
Can see the brass at the lower right here
[Linked Image]

Anyway groups
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Now I don't get a velocity on the very first group because I was still getting the Chrono tuned in but with our 20" barrel we where getting roughly 250-300fps less then what the book said Soo I'd say our start load was probably 3300fps... Which I gotta say is kinda crazy that , THAT is counted as slow lol. But yeah there test rifle was a 26" bolt gun soooo
[Linked Image]

Also I did switch to smaller targets on the second set. Went for 2" orange stickers to 1" . Thought it might help a lil
[Linked Image]

O and finally made a lil stand instead of messing with cardboard boxes lol
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Also on my last two groups ..d
Idk what happened with the first shots . I squeezed them off and they both just felt wrong. Like I was watching bullet impacts on all the others but those two ....idk

Ok last deal for a while . Decided that thought there cool.... Super fast lil bitty varmint bullets don't really do much for me . I don't really do anything like shooting ground squirrels or prairie dogs soooo something a lil less.... explode_y would be better lol. And with he 1:14 twist I'm about topped out with 55gr bullets... THOUGH apparently people have luck with 60's .
Anyhow my two options are
[Linked Image]
And decided to go with he slick slider one ... because....idk I like how non cannulated bullets look
[Linked Image]

Also going with the other powder I got for this project
[Linked Image]

Case fill is till below the shoulder a bit.. and staring out with a hight charge for starting just because where loosing an average of 300fps from book
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

And custom cbto/COAL
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

And same deal as before
[Linked Image]

Aanndd
[Linked Image]

enjoy the big easy , get some seafood and listen to some music.

I bet your brother would be fun to bring there with his trombone and play pickup with some street musicians

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

It would be interesting to run your bore scope down that bore again and see what that gas port looks like now.

Anyhow go to do the ballistic X and sick

[Linked Image]

But... Also did a mag test. Most of the people with problems ( WHO ACTUALLY POSTED PICTURES) seemed to be using these straight SR25 style mags. Picked one of these up at bass pro
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Thought this could be the problem because it was kinda a common issue with 6.5 Grendel and 7.62 x39 till the started making the slightly curved mags.
And as you see my PMAG is kind curved
[Linked Image]

And a side by side of the two
[Linked Image]

Now not the best test because I can't fully load the mag up with 10rd... because I only give five rounds left soooo.... But it's something
[Linked Image]

O also the way the bullets sit in the mag
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

As far as the test just loaded up my staring load because I had everything set up still and raked the bolt
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

And it takes all five rounds no issues...
[Linked Image]

....so ...idk what to tell ya I legit been trying to make this thing not work , not feed annnnd it just keep chugging along so

Any thing in particular you want to use it for? I tend to use a Swift more than the 250 but generally speaking 50-55 grains are my choice. I save 40 grainers for things like the .222. You will find most varmint style bullets in the 50-55 grain range will completely disintegrate themselves within most ranges when run at the top of the velocity range for your gun. I dont have any experience using things like the 55 grain soft points that you loaded in that round but I do use it for deer crop damage out of the 223. If I'm wanting something that does come apart very rapidly Vmax's have generally fit the bill. I tend to have the best overall accuracy out of Sierra's but that could just be coincidence and its minor in the grand scheme. If I want something a little less volatile my absolute favorites are Nosler BT's. No experience with anything heavier. If I want that I swap guns

It seems to like a little speed, I'd push it a little harder, check the bore again, and maybe cut back on the caffein the day of the next test. smile
While you are doing accuracy tests, because it is a semi auto, put an extra round in the mag, on the bottom, after doing a measurement for OAL. then fire your five shot group, then measure OAL on the sixth round to compare OAL from first measurement to determine if you have enough crimp on the bullet in your recipe. You might also consider loading single rounds, in the same mag while testing, to see if your rate of fire is causing the shape of your groups to change from heat/ barrel movement.
As for bullets, might check on some of the "Factory Blemish" bullets, suppliers like Midway USA sell. If you find one you like, then wait for one of there 30-50% sales and buy a couple thousand. Most blemishes are cosmetic, and you can weight sort them for consistency. Like stated above, at those velocities, they are like bombs on impact anyway.
Looks like you got a good buy, can't buy much in the way of a rifle barrel for that money anymore.

Like I said earlier on ...I'm not even sure what the heck I'll use this thing for :Di don't do the usual 22-250 deal like blowing up prairie dogs or wood chucks ....not that I have either anyway.and most of the bullets in the 30-55gr range are those "explosive types " and not the most useful for anything bigger than fox from what all the experts said so confused
So guess a lighter bullet a guy could use for up to deer.... Though I know A LOT of folks who run .22 center fires for deer and pigs and just use whatever they can get.... Though there neck shooting 90% of the time ...

Idk like I said I WISH this was a 1:7 twist because be running. 63-90's in this sucker but o well

Yeahhhhh I've never been the best at shooting paper lol. No matter what I do unless I just in a really chill mood ..... I'm just not the best a shooting paper..steel , bottles ,dirt clods , line game . everything else different story.... That lil dot in the paper yeahhh...

Anyhow you sure about the speed deal ? Was thinking I seemed to like the slower loads ...but that just the way I'm looking at it might be missing something confused

And glad you mentioned that ! I should have bought 100 pieces of brass to do that seating test to see what recoil would do , but only did 50.... But I need to order more anyway so we can try when I get more in smile

As far as the single round.... I've done it before but I have mixed feelings about that honestly because even though I'm not thinking I'm going to need to be burning though mags or something... I really feel I should be able to get a load that can keep a good five round group without much fuss you know . I don't shoot super fast with these groups, but no super slow either.

And I still haven't gotten into blemished bullets or components yet , I really need to buy the possibilities with them drive me nuts lol

60 gr nosler partitions will shoot in a 14 twist, as will the 64 gr nosler bonded.

O and made some money selling eggs and ordered a little something some to do a test cool .... Won't quite be apple to apples and ... honestly it's hard to be apples to apple when one has 34.5 GR of case capacity vs 44.6 ...buuuuut when I keep seeing folks talking about it's gonna kill the 250...well gotta try it laugh .. don't help my 6.5 Grendel upper has been sitting around collecting dust for about a year now . Should just be a barrel swap if I red every thing right

Get yourself a quality barrel before you sell yourself short on your shooting skills. You ain't gonna shoot better than your gun is capable of.

Welp picked up some of this magical powder eveyone keeps talking about and a box of these 52 gr BTHP's. Think they will be the best thing I could ask for given all the constraints a 1:14 twist gives a guy
[Linked Image]
Next to one of the 55gr SP's... Which onna side note , I was reading and apparently the cannulated 55gr HP's work better , terminally wise ..... Folks think it's because the cannular works kinda like this deal on a nosler partition....KINDA ...... Sorta kinda ..... In a very liberal sense lol
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Will say though it has a bit of a large hollow point compared to something like my 69 gr RMR BTHP's

You want to see a large hollow point on a 52gr 22 cal bullet, look at the Speer. I used them for years on local varmints and Kansas prairie dogs

and those folks have no idea what they are talking about. Big difference between using a crimp/cannelure to hold a core in and an actual partition style that can not come apart, no matter how hard you push it.

Not that you need a partition style bullet for small critters.

Alright alright alright new bullet time.
So first I gave it a cleaning , I have cleaned it since I fist got it so it's got 70 odd rounds with of carbon and copper built up
Threw it in the vice and acquired a good bit of hoppes down the barrel and just let it eat over night while I was doing other stuff
Then did my usual cleaning deal , hopes dry patches , scub with JB bore paste yadda yadda y'all know the deal
[Linked Image]

And a looky loo on the inside
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Found this deal....looks like something you'd draw to summon a demon or something lol but at least the lands cleaned up nicely
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

And new bullet means new seating depth so made a lil split case
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

So , how this works , the cut allows you to ad or release some tension on the bullet , ya want enough to hold the bullet and let it slide back with a decent bit of effort...but no so much that it will allow the bullet to stick it too lil it just plop out. Anyhow stick it in long ,measure it.
[Linked Image]

Fit it in the bolt rim under the extractor and chamber it
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Gently pull it out and take that measurement. Do that a few times get an average an That's where your hitting the rifling .do with that what you may ...some people jam it down people jump alot...me I like like .003 off .

Now.... something I thought about was that when the gun actually runs...the rim of the round does go under the ejector till it's in the chamber and the bolt is slapping the back of the case .... As shown
[Linked Image]

some mabye ... Something might be different maybe I should try it ... So too that dummy plopped it in the chamber dropped the bolt release like I would if I was reloading a mag and
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
Yeaaahhh that's a bit different so.... I basically have two different deals now j can work off of and since the second is more like how stuff actually works...guess I do that ! So ended up running like 2.045, yeah that's supposed to be jam....but it ejected fine and easy with no marks ...so ... It can't be jammed idk..

So as far as powder I WAS going to use some of the magical H380 buuuut apparently that's only for like 55gr and up so we'll have to wait , BUT again I have the options between accurate 2460 and 2520 and since 2520 gave such good results last time just gonna run with that
[Linked Image]
And gonna go up a bit because as y'all saw this 20" barrel is loosing like 300fps vs book
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
And not alot of case fill

Ok and the set up same as last bipod read bag magneto yadda yadda
[Linked Image]

Feeding from the mag and was recommended to do a lil test to see if I get any bullet movement due to recoil. So measured the first round in the mag
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Bore sighted and re checked on paper at 50yd and it was all over the place .... Ends I only tightened one screw on the mount .... I'm not that bright I've told y'all this lol
[Linked Image]
O and the bullet test !...yeah nothing changed lol same measurement

Fixed that and took another round at 100yd to get on paper but .....yeah imma be 100% I don't have any issues at all fed perfectly is just a DREAM to shoot can watch my round impact with next to no muzzle rize and here be the groups
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Sooooooo yeah ... That's what .. 5 outta 6 under 1MOA ? Velocities are on the lowered side for a 250 but again ...20" barrel feel like I could stomp on it a lil harder and play with it some.more but this is bolt gun data and this is a gas gun so..... Not the safest thing to do....soooo guess the question is now ...which load ?

So its not safe to load them to 22 250 speeds?

..I mean you CAN the issue is this data is for a bolt gun, bolt guns can usually handle way more pressure then a gas gun before stuff starts breaking. That and I have a 20" barrel which is already hampering me pretty bad . That being said there's so tech savvy off the book speed demon guys I follow who routinely cook up loads for shorter barrels and gas guns that can keep up with the "normal " ones and stay within safe pressures....but that abit outside my deal

My bolt gun has a 22 inch barrel I think. Not in the mood to dig it out. I get 3600 without using a max book load and 55 grain pills. You lose a little cause of barrel length and the gas system but I would think 34-5 is very doable. Can't you just ease toward max loads looking for pressure signs on the brass? If you have not guessed yet there is a lot I dont know about ars.

my 14 twist 22-250 shoots 55 gr fine, even the 60 gr nosler partition, the nosler 64 gr bonded, and thee 64 gr. winchester power points. its not bullet weight but length, those bullets are the same length as a 55 gr.

These shoot good for me- I have 1 in 14'' barrel

The bottom 2 shoot the same hole for me. I load them all the same with 38 grains of H 380. Don't shoot things closer than about 70 yards with that 40 grain bullet. You might get something on your shirt...

I wouldn't change a thing with the groups you are getting.

I could but again gotta be careful with em these AR bolts. For me it's just extra wear and tear annnnd doesn't help this is one of the cheapest companies so no super trusting of them lol ... I might ask about some different lowered pressure powders and see but I'm pretty happy as is

You know I forgot Barnes made bullets lol. Dont think I've ever messed with them. But anyhow like I said before I'm in an odd place because well I don't really do o have the ability to do what most do with a .22-250 blowing up prairie dogs or sniping gophers and the like . So alot of the bullets folks like for .22-250 arnt the best for me just to explosive. ...

Honestly I didn't n't expect this thing to work figured it would be something I pulled out to fiddle with Evey so often when I was bored .... Now I got a 15lbs gun that shoots good groups...but only with things bullets laugh

Could never get my crony dialed in with them but let me find the box they should follow about the same trend as the rest

If ya wanna get fussy and get rid of the ring you see on the bullet caused when seating it, take the seater out of your die, sand it and put some J-B weld in it and put it back in.

Take a loaded round and lube the bullet so it don't stick and run it up in. Screw the seater down tight onto it and let it set up before removing.

Imperil makes a neck lube that works great too, but a better fitting seater helps with bullet alignment too.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.
