I was in the process of placing an order to Mr Lucero and how much to order. I figure I have 10-15 years left in my trapping adventures and wonder how long the lures will keep if stored in a cool/dry place.

I came across the thread discussing successors. This got me to thinking about my general exposure if other of my favorites were no longer available.

I have lures made by several newer makers that may be great in their own right, but I would hate to lose some of the time proven lures that I have had success with.

Well made lures will keep longer than 15 years if they are kept in a cool dry place.
