Nittany Lion OP Don't call me Mister, Mister Joined: Dec 2006 Central Pennsylvania	Franklin has been fired as Penn State head coach. I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Franklin couldn't beat the Big 10 heavyweights like Ohio State, Michigan and Oregon. Yet he was able to take a bottom feeder in Vanderbilt to near the top. I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

In his three years in the SEC he was 2-6, 5-3 and 4-4 in conference play. That's the coach you hired and the coach you got.
