They've gone through 210 pounds of corn in two weeks. It's no wonder with a herd like this. Lots of freezer meat there.

Speaking of lots of freezer meat, these two look like they will make some great meals.

Frosty in that bottom pic, we didn't even get a frost that bad yet.

Same here, Paul.
I stop in at tractor supply and buy two 50# bags of whole corn each week. I have two locations that get a bag each. I actually divvy it up so each spot only gets 1/2 a bag but I do that 2x a week. The deer love the corn and they are fun to watch visit. Better than a bird feeder in my mind.
I don’t hunt them but it’s fun to see them come visit.
Jim

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I feed a ton of rice bran and half a ton of corn per month

This one gets more than his fair share. Ready for the meat grinder

When I might have baited....After a few days I'd only put out a coffee cans worth spread out....all the evidence would be gone by morning, and the deer would still visit every afternoon, take a few bites then come back at night to finish...plenty of time to pick one out.... cool

No frost - that's just how the picture came out at that time in the morning around dawn.

Its a cool looking pic anyhow, like a heavy frost or rain froze on the vegetation.

Wow, that's a lot of money on feed. You must really love them deer.

The deer around here get all the corn they can eat, soybeans too, and the farmers provide it free. I'm lucky that way.

Not allowed to bait pile em here.
Experts said it'll kill em.
Amazing the tonnage of "deer corn"
the box stores sell. And their price.

If I did feed em I'd give mads with.
Dang ticks.

Not an acre of row crop in my county. Probably 3/4 woods and 1/4 pasture. Cover aint short here. Only way to get them out s a feed pile or a good pack of hounds - both of which are legal here

I have a feeder that disperses for 5 seconds twice a day. 3 weeks ago, I had around 20 that was running to it when it went off. Last 3 weeks I haven't seen a deer there. Ground is literally covered with white oak acorns. SW Arkansas.

Glad you guys and gals are getting excited. Was never my sport like deer meat so I shoot whatever comes by first ( 270,muzzleloader or longbow). That’s why I never comment on deer harvests. Good luck to all. Always followed the posts for years Shoot a wall hanger

I've got a pulley system with a ramp to get them into the bed of the truck. I'm too old to try to manhandle them.

I had my broadcast feeder set for 3 seconds( once per day) last year. This year it was changed to 2 seconds. Got same amount of deer coming to it, and corn will last a lot longer.
