Got copy of T&PC at a trapping seminar with an article about Trapperman, and Charlie Dobbins, got on a 'Puter and joined up. However long ago that was?

I tried getting on here in 2006.... But ..between the dial up....and no puter skills ,I was lost.

I didn't even know trapping forums existed. Like Savell I was just googling "trapping" and found the site. It was 2004. I was a fan of Charlie Dobbins prior to finding this place, so I was rather in awe when I realized it was his son who ran the place... and then he banned me. LMAO.

I didnt know what google was. Wife brought home a computer and got it hooked up. I typed in trapper or trapping where you put the web address and Tman popped up. Found the chat room. Folks like the Tomato Goddess started teaching me stuff about how to use it. Still type with one finger but that chat room got me typing lots faster.

Late one night I had a trapping question of some sort. Everything I looked up lead me here, so I joined up.

First one that I remember (96-97??) talking with Paul was one called SpAV outdoors, It was out of
Florida, There was some cool late night conversations on it. That one went away then there was a few more.

Anyway I followed it to what it has become.

Was trying to figure out the best way to get the grease off new traps. Looked it up and the best answer was on Trapperman. Didn't know what an online forum even was but I realized there was some great info, so I started lurking. Then when I saw the post about the kid's Christmas drawing contest I asked my mom if I could join. I thought for sure she'd say no but she was all for it
