Spent two weeks relaxing in Wyoming and Colorado chasing goats. After all of life's events over the past few years, this vacation was well needed. Haven't felt that relaxed in years. Was incredible until I hit the traffic on I-80 between Omaha and Des Moines returning to Wasteconsin - The reality set back in as I engineered devises to plow ignorant drivers off the road. Proof stupidity thrives on congregations of brain dead people. Can't wait to get out of here and go back.

Anyways, made a few stalks on some giants, experienced a few major mishaps with equipment, glassed a lot of critters, and settled up on taking a slightly above average old buck. No regrets. Accomplished 99% of my goals.

Awesome trip!

I have driven that chunk of I-80 roughly twice a week for the last 20 years. It used to be to be a relaxing drive. Now it’s nuts. Both hands on the wheel and head on a swivel. Had a semi driver heading west in the east bound lane a couple months ago. He must have fallen asleep and ran over the cable guards. He couldn’t get back over to west bound so he just put his flashers on and was crawling to the next exit, 2 miles or so.
