Anyone ever pull a lawn sweeper with an atv? I have too many pinecones/needles & leaves. I don't own a riding mower but I have an Arctic Cat Alterra 300 2 x 4 atv. My yard is more than I can rake by hand. I'd also consider a gas leaf blower & a better thatching blade for my push mower if that might solve my dilemma. I used to borrow the neighbors mower/sweeper/vac, but no longer have access to that. Thanks

That should work. Our grandson pulls our lawn sweeper behind the golf cart and does well.

One of my next door neighbors, whose house is completely surrounded by large trees, used an ATV with a sweeper to gather up a huge amount of leaves, which he then burned over a few days. He was a good neighbor. Sadly, he died two years.

Yes we pulled ours with an ATV. Worked great.

I want one.

Fixed one three times,
on the 4th I junked it.
The guy never lubed the chain
and drove too fast. Over loaded and
sat outside.
And, he did not care lol.

I know of a motorized one..

I have both lawn vaccumms and sweepers. Both pull behind ATV just fine. Adjusting height controls the performance of the sweeper

Consider a MULCHING mower to put the material back into the soil where it belongs.

I borrowed a lawn sweeper from a buddy a couple weeks ago. I pulled it behind my garden tractor. They work pretty good. I think if you keep the speed down on an ATV it would work the same as pulling up behind a tractor. Too fast and you’ll likely be slinging grass up over the top.

It'll work, I used to pull a 100 pound spreader with a pickup, had to put the boy on the tailgate to operate the lever, lol

Here at the house I just run over them with the sit down mower....like leaves never happened

I had a sweeper, ended up getting rid of it.
Didn't work very good.
I suspect that I keep my lawn thicker/taller than most so that I'm sure doesn't help.

As far as leaf blowers, I have 2 currently.
The first one I got is the smallest gas one Husky makes, its limited on how well it blows leaves, a few really dry leaves and its good.
Last year I got a backpack blower, the 2nd largest one husky makes, wow, what a difference, its a beast.
I use the blower in the woods to clear the ground for seeding.
This is probably the most extreme leaf blowing out there.
I usually will clear about 1/4-1/2 acre areas.
I can push much more stuff much faster with the large one.

If it was me for lawn use I'd go with a blower over a sweeper.

We use a lawn sweep quite often this time of the year. It works every well for leaves, pine needles and cones. We also use a blower which does much faster especially with heavy debris.
