I'm sure there has been but has anyone tried or have had luck with wild pig bones?
I go to Texas for pigs every year, bring them back & butcher them myself. I have a good amount of bones left over & don't want to throw em out so they're in the freezer for now.
Tried a couple fresh leg bones last year but didn't get more than one set of yote tracks that walked through. Didn't even get close to the trap or bone.
Any ideas?
Trying for yotes until wolf opens.
Thanks

Ya can't miss fur if yur traps are out somewhere.
Or so I've been told.

I use bones pretty frequently. I’ll attach a piece of wire to a Berkshire anchor, twist it around the bone a few times, and drive the anchor into the ground tight. Add some food lure to the bone and move on. They have to move their feet since they can’t just pick the bone up and run off with it
